This is a forum for people who love horse-racing but love the horses too. We want to make sure that the racing industry puts the welfare and safety of the horses FIRST, despite the financial pressures within the industry that lead to over-breeding, racing the horses to the ground or sending them off to slaughter for a quick, easy and profitable disposal method. We are DEMANDING industry accountability through less breeding, more retirement funding & putting an end to racehorse slaughter.

Great article, thanks for your share and your time which you spend for us!
I know that most people will take care of a horse in need and if they can not then they find someone who can. Horse slaughter is cruel- no doubt about it- but what is even more sickening are the people involved in the illegal trade, and the conditions that the horse is inhumanely kept before his/hers last days of life.
Horse slaughter is really an evil thing and this must be stopped! People behind this says that slaughter is the only way to decrease their population due to excessive equine reproduction.
I read your blog frequently, and I just thought I’d say keep up the fantastic work! It is one of the most outstanding blogs in my opinion. racecard ratings
